Electronic Instrument Trades Worker

Silvern Guardian Security Services Pty Ltd (70 Essington Lewis Ave, Whyalla SA 5600) is hiring a full-time Electronic Instrument Trades Worker to join the team.  We aim to offer quick and efficient services and are looking for a skilled and experienced worker.

Tasks & responsibilities

Hoisting, measuring, testing, and drilling of various types of CCTV installations

Maintain updated knowledge of all equipment, products, and services to properly educate customers

Evaluate equipment to determine if it needed to be repaired or replaced

Diagnose and troubleshot system faults, identifying equipment issues and resolutions

Running, troubleshooting, terminating, and connecting cables

Connecting and configuring IP cameras

Evaluate signal quality and performance with computers, networks and software

Utilization of technical manuals from manufacturers to troubleshoot systems

Qualifications & experience

AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV, or at least three years of relevant experience to substitute for the formal qualifications

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience

Cabling skills, electrical design and troubleshooting skills and electrical safety skills
