This role is ideal for motivated individuals with strong observation skills, professionalism, and the ability to respond effectively in a range of security environments.</p><br><h3>Benefits</h3><ul><li>Competitive salary package</li><li>Stable full-time employment opportunity</li><li>Supportive and professional work environment</li><li>Opportunity to work across diverse security assignments</li><li>Career growth and development opportunities</li><li>Ongoing training and operational support</li><li>Flexible shift arrangements</li><li>Safety-focused workplace culture</li></ul><br><h3>Task & responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Monitoring and patrolling assigned premises to maintain security and safety</li><li>Controlling access to sites, buildings, and restricted areas</li><li>Observing and reporting suspicious activities, incidents, and security breaches</li><li>Responding to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents promptly and professionally</li><li>Conducting routine inspections of premises, equipment, and security systems</li><li>Preparing incident reports, daily activity logs, and security documentation</li><li>Assisting with crowd control and maintaining order where required</li><li>Providing customer service and assistance to staff, visitors, and clients</li><li>Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety procedures</li><li>Operating surveillance systems, communication devices, and security equipment</li><li>Liaising with emergency services, management, and law enforcement where necessary</li><li>Following company operational procedures and security protocols at all times</li></ul><br><h3>Qualification & experience</h3><ul><li>Certificate II or III in Security Operations preferred</li><li>Current Queensland Security Licence required(Desirable)</li><li>Previous experience of minimum 1-3 years in security operations, crowd control, patrol, or guarding preferred</li><li>Strong observation, communication, and conflict resolution skills</li><li>Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations</li><li>Good understanding of workplace safety and security procedures</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>Physically fit and capable of performing patrol and monitoring duties</li><li>Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays where required</li></ul>
